Cyclone Ditwah – Disaster Relief Appeal

Sri Lanka is facing a severe humanitarian crisis following the floods and landslides caused by Cyclone Ditwah. Lives have been lost, homes destroyed and essential infrastructure devastated.

There is an urgent need for Disaster Relief including dry rations, medicines and temporary shelter for those displaced. In the weeks ahead, support will continue to be vital to help communities rebuild their lives and restore basic services.

As always, it is the most vulnerable who suffer the worst. These are the communities the Sri Lanka Society has helped for over 50 years through the many trusted organisations whose projects we have supported.

The Sri Lanka Society has launched the “Cyclone Ditwah – Disaster Relief Appeal” through PayPal and are seeking donations from individuals and corporate partners. Every penny you give will go directly to relief efforts in Sri Lanka with no administrative deductions by us or by the local organisations in Sri Lanka we support.
